Good Short Dramas: The Full-Length Ones Viewers Watched Most on the Apps' Own Channels
The most-watched complete short dramas on ShortMax, ReelShort and FlexTV's official YouTube channels, read on 7 October 2026, and the werewolf stories viewers liked most per view.
Nobody can measure “good”. What we can measure is how many people watched a drama, and how many of the people who watched it liked it enough to press a button. This page uses both, for one kind of short drama in particular: the ones you can watch from the first scene to the last, free, on the app’s own YouTube channel.
If you were looking for short Korean or Chinese television series, a few episodes long, that is a different thing; we cover it in Korean short drama. Everything below is the vertical, phone-shaped format sold through apps.
Where the complete ones are
Most of what these apps post on YouTube is an opening that sends you to the app for the rest. Three official channels also post whole dramas in one upload, marked FULL in the title. We read every upload on all three on 7 October 2026:

“Complete” here means the channel itself labelled the upload FULL and it runs at least 50 minutes. That is the channel’s claim, not ours; we have not checked each upload against the app’s episode list. ReelShort also posts about 35 uploads marked [FULL] whose titles are a one-line hook with no series name; we leave those out, because a list of hooks is no help when you want to find something.

Search the channel for the title in the first column; they are all still up. The typical complete upload on this channel has about 118,000 views, so these six are each watched eight to sixteen times as much as the middle of the pile.

ReelShort’s complete uploads were concentrated between October and December 2025; there were 60 of the 84 FULL-marked uploads in that quarter. Its channel today is mostly short clips and the opening batches we describe in the ReelShort trailer guide.

FlexTV’s titles run the series name and a tagline together, so we show the part before the colon and shorten one long tagline; the third title is cut short by the channel itself. FlexTV is the one channel of the three still adding complete dramas every month. Its typical complete upload gets far fewer views, about 9,000, so a FlexTV title with a million views stands out more than the same number would on ShortMax.
Liked most per view: the werewolf stories
Views mostly measure promotion: which upload the channel pushed and how long it has been up. Likes per view say a little more, because they come only from people who actually pressed play.
On ShortMax, among the 50 complete uploads with at least 200,000 views, the typical upload collects about 9.5 likes for every 1,000 views. The ones that collect the most:

Five of the ten most-liked are werewolf stories, against one of the ten most-watched. Grouping by title words (alpha, luna, mate, wolf and the like), the 12 werewolf uploads in this set collect a median 10.4 likes per 1,000 views; the other 38 collect 9.4. It is a small set and the difference is modest, but it points one way: the billionaire stories get the views, and the werewolf stories get the most enthusiasm from the people who watch them. What these lists do not tell you
- Older uploads have had longer to collect views. The ShortMax and ReelShort uploads above date from late 2025 to spring 2026, and a newer upload with fewer views is not necessarily less popular.
- YouTube views are a marketing figure. They say how well an upload did on YouTube. They say nothing about how a drama did inside the app, where the apps do not publish anything comparable.
- We do not rate dramas. There is no score on this page, ours or anyone else’s. Two numbers counted the same way for every upload are the most honest version of “good” we can offer.

What we measured
Every public upload on three verified official YouTube channels, read through the YouTube Data API on 7 October 2026: 1,051 on ShortMax’s Watch Dramas & Show channel, 4,536 on ReelShort’s and 1,068 on FlexTV English. A complete upload is one at least 50 minutes long that the channel labelled FULL in its title: 138 on ShortMax, 49 named ones on ReelShort, 289 on FlexTV. Where the same title was uploaded twice, views are added together. Likes per 1,000 views use the like count YouTube reports at the same time. Titles are reproduced as the channels write them, shortened only where noted. Nothing on this page describes what anything costs.
