PineDrama is TikTok’s own short drama app. It reached the US App Store on 23 December 2025, it is sold by the same company that sells TikTok, and its listing calls it “TikTok’s Official Short Drama App”. It is not connected to any of the YouTube channels called Pine Drama, which is where a lot of people end up when they go looking for it.

We read its App Store listing, its website and the YouTube channels using its name on 15 October 2026.

What it is

On the US App Store
Seller TikTok Pte. Ltd., which also sells TikTok, Lemon8 and TikTok Studio
Available since 23 December 2025
Ratings 65,553
Average 4.9
Age rating 12+
Interface languages listed 46

In under ten months it has collected more US ratings than three apps that had a head start of a year or more: My Drama, MoboReels and FlexTV. It sits ninth of the twelve short drama apps we track. Ratings counts are a rough sign of reach, not a user count.

The language count stands out. PineDrama lists 46 interface languages; no other app we track lists more than 24. That fits an app built to sit alongside TikTok in every market TikTok serves.

Its website, shortdrama.tiktok.com, is a download page. It lists no series and links to no YouTube channel.

The Pine Drama channels are not PineDrama

Search YouTube for “Pine Drama” and you will find at least nine channels using the name. None of them links to TikTok’s app, and the app and its website link to none of them.

  • Eight opened in 2026, after the app launched, most with a handful of uploads and a few dozen subscribers. One describes itself as a home for AI-made short dramas; another as a navigation site for finding series.
  • The oldest, @PineDrama, predates the app by six years. It was registered in India in 2019 and posted Korean TV trailers and entertainment clips. Its last upload was on 30 November 2024.

We made this mistake ourselves. Until September 2026 we counted that old channel among the short drama channels we track; it was never a short drama channel, and it has nothing to do with TikTok. If you find a “Pine Drama” upload on YouTube, it is not from the app.

What people are searching for

Since late September 2026, our own search data has shown people typing a series title followed by the word “pinedrama”. We have seen 18 different searches of that shape, among them:

  • The Clockwork Genius
  • The Duplicator’s Revenge
  • The Captain’s Hidden Genius
  • The CEO’s Twin Secret
  • Wrong Love and Reunion

None of the 14 titles in those searches appears in the 1,885 series we hold from the ReelShort, NetShort and ShortMax catalogues. That fits the obvious explanation: these are series people saw on PineDrama or in TikTok, and they add the app’s name to find them again. We cannot confirm it, because PineDrama publishes no catalogue outside the app.

How to find a PineDrama series

  1. Search inside the PineDrama app. Its catalogue is not published on the web, so the app is the only reliable index.
  2. Search TikTok itself. The app belongs to it, and a title you saw in a TikTok clip may be easier to trace there.
  3. Do not trust a YouTube channel because of its name. None of the nine we found is connected to TikTok.

If you only remember a scene, how to find a short drama from one scene covers the other routes. TikTok was already where many viewers first met these apps, through advertising; we looked at that in short drama ads on TikTok.

What this does and does not show

It shows who sells PineDrama, where it sits among the apps we track, and that the YouTube channels using its name are unconnected to it.

It does not show what PineDrama carries. We cannot list its series, confirm that the searched titles are its own, or say how much of each is free. Nothing on this page describes what anything costs.

What we measured

The US App Store listings of PineDrama and eleven other short drama apps, read together through Apple’s public lookup service on 15 October 2026, along with the other apps sold by PineDrama’s seller. PineDrama’s website, read the same day. Every YouTube channel returned for the name “PineDrama” through the YouTube Data API on 15 October 2026, with each channel’s creation date, country and description, and the full upload history of the oldest one. Searches come from this site’s own Google Search Console data, September to October 2026, and were compared with our catalogue of 1,885 series.
