Plot Search

You remember what happened, not what it was called. Type the plot and see what matches — this works here because short drama titles are plot summaries, not names.

Plain words work best. Character names will not — nobody publishes a cast list for these.

Why searching by plot works here and not elsewhere

A film called Titanic tells you nothing about what happens in it. A short drama calledMy Ex Humiliated Me. Now His Brother Is Teaching Me How to Make Him Pay tells you the setup, the turn and the ending. These titles are not names. They are the logline, printed where the name usually goes.

We measured the difference. Across the 1,543 catalogue titles we hold, 4% contain a narrative turn word — now, then, but, until. Across the marketing titles the same platforms posted to YouTube in July 2026, that figure is 19%, roughly double what it was in 2025. The titles are becoming more like plot summaries over time, not less.

That is the entire mechanism behind this page. It matches the words in your description against the words in the title, weighted so that rare words like werewolf count for more than common ones like love, and it gives partial credit when your words match a plot label the platform applied. No model, no guessing — you can read the same titles yourself in thecatalogue.

What it cannot do

  • It cannot find a drama by an actor's name. No platform we track publishes a cast list, so we hold none.
  • It only knows titles and labels, not what is on screen. Nobody on this desk has watched these series. If a plot point never made it into the title, no search here will surface it.
  • Plot labels cover 1119 of 1885 series. The rest are matched on title words alone, which works less well for short titles.
  • Three catalogues, not the whole category. We can read NetShort, ReelShort and ShortMax. DramaBox, FlexTV and GoodShort publish no catalogue we can parse, so nothing from them appears here at all.

Still stuck? Finding a short drama from a single scene covers what to do when the title never mentioned the bit you remember.
