Partly, and less than the title says. ReelShort’s official YouTube channel has posted 84 uploads that it labels Full Episodes or [FULL], each at least 50 minutes long. Where we could check them against ReelShort’s own episode lists, they run about two-thirds of the time the whole series should take. For most of those same series, the complete version is free inside the ReelShort app.

We read every public upload on the channel, 4,536 videos, on 7 October 2026.

What the channel mostly posts

The official channel is @reelshortapp. It started in November 2022, and YouTube shows it with about 18.5 million subscribers. People often call ReelShort’s series “movies”; the channel itself is mostly short material:

  • 2,606 uploads, 57.5%, run under three minutes.
  • 550 have “trailer” in the title.
  • 189 are ReelTalk segments with the cast.
  • 83 are the [EP1-N] opening batches it began posting in 2026, which we describe in the ReelShort trailer guide.

The typical upload has stayed short through every period:

Period Uploads Median length
Nov 2022 to Dec 2023 179 1 min 30 s
2024 689 1 min 01 s
Jan to Sep 2025 1,557 2 min 27 s
Oct to Dec 2025 706 1 min 01 s
Jan to Jun 2026 878 1 min 12 s
Jul to early Oct 2026 527 59 s

The full-length uploads: a burst in late 2025

The 84 full-length uploads did not arrive evenly. 60 of them went up between October and December 2025. After that the channel posted a handful each month, and since July 2026 only one. The last was on 1 July 2026.

They run a median of 1 hour 19 minutes, and they draw far more views than the rest of the channel: a median of 274,077 each, against 32,674 for the typical upload.

So if you search YouTube for a ReelShort “full movie”, you will usually find one of these, uploaded around the end of 2025.

How complete are they?

This is the part the titles do not tell you. Of the 84, 49 carry a series name, and 29 of those match a series in ReelShort’s own catalogue exactly. For those 29 we know how many episodes the series has, and we have measured how long a ReelShort episode runs: about 1 minute 48 seconds at the median.

The 29 series we could check Median
Episodes in the series 65
Expected length at 1 min 48 s an episode 1 h 57 min
Length of the “full” upload 1 h 14 min
Upload as a share of the expected length 65%

The estimate leaves room for error, so we tried a shorter episode length too. Even at 1 minute 38 seconds an episode, which is shorter than three in four of the episodes we measured, not one of the 29 uploads reaches the full length. The closest gets to 94%.

One example: The CEO’s Contract Wife has 93 episodes on ReelShort. Its full-episodes upload runs 1 hour 54 minutes. At the measured episode length, all 93 would take about 2 hours 47 minutes.

What we cannot see is how the time was cut. The uploads could trim every episode, drop the recap at the start of each one, or leave some episodes out. The data shows the gap, not the edit. Either way, a ReelShort “full episodes” upload is best treated as a long cut of the story, not the series as released.

The complete version is often free in the app

Here is the useful twist. 23 of the 29 series are free from the first episode to the last in the ReelShort app, according to ReelShort’s own series pages, read on 2 September 2026. The other six give away the first five to ten episodes.

That is not a coincidence of these 29. Across ReelShort’s whole catalogue, 108 of its 766 series are free to the end, and they are mostly the older ones, as we found in do old short dramas become free. The series ReelShort chose to post in full on YouTube came largely from that older, already-free part of the catalogue.

What to do

  1. Want a ReelShort story in one sitting on YouTube? Search the official channel for “Full Episodes”. Expect about an hour and a quarter, and expect it to be shortened.
  2. Want the whole series? Look it up in the app first. If it is one of the older series, there is a good chance every episode is free.
  3. Newer series will not be there. The channel has posted one full-length upload since July 2026. For new releases it posts trailers and opening batches instead.

If you are trying to find which series a clip or ad came from, the Clip Finder searches the official channels’ upload titles.

What this does and does not show

It shows what ReelShort has put on its official YouTube channel, and, for the 29 full-length uploads we could match, how their length compares with the series as listed by ReelShort.

It does not show exactly what was cut. The comparison rests on an episode length measured from the opening episodes of 37 series, including their title and end cards, so it is an estimate. 20 of the full-length uploads carry a one-line hook instead of a name, or a name not in the catalogue, and we could not check those. Free status is as ReelShort listed it on 2 September 2026 and can change.

What we measured

Every public upload on ReelShort’s official YouTube channel, 4,536 videos from November 2022 to October 2026, read through the YouTube Data API on 7 October 2026. A full-length upload is one at least 50 minutes long whose title says Full Episodes or [FULL]; compilations of several series are excluded. Series were matched to ReelShort’s catalogue of 766 series by exact title. Episode counts and free-to-the-end status come from ReelShort’s own series pages. Nothing on this page describes what anything costs.
