My Drama is a short drama app: serialised stories filmed in vertical format for phones and released in short episodes. It is a mid-to-small app by App Store ratings, it markets itself on original productions, and its YouTube channel works almost entirely as a trailer reel. If you are hoping to watch a whole My Drama series free on YouTube, you will find almost nothing: one upload in 1,365 runs longer than 50 minutes.

We read its US App Store listing and every public upload on its official YouTube channel on 10 October 2026.

Who makes it

My Drama has been on the US App Store since 9 May 2024. The seller is Holy Water Limited, which sells one other app, FreeBits, a drama and TV app added in March 2025 with far fewer ratings.

The listing leans on originality. It says, in its own words, that the app won a 2025 Webby Award for best streaming service and carries more than 80 exclusive original series, and it offers downloads for offline viewing. We have not checked the award or the count; we report them as the store listing states them. It is rated 17+, and its official channel describes its stories as aimed at adults.

Average 4.7
Rank by ratings, of 11 short drama apps we checked 9th

For scale, DramaBox has 873,078 ratings and FlexTV 7,441. Ratings counts are a rough sign of reach, not a user count.

Its official YouTube channel

The app’s own website links to @MyDramaApp, a channel called “My Drama Shorts”. It opened in April 2024, YouTube shows it with about 1.35 million subscribers, and it has 1,365 public uploads.

What it posts is mostly very short:

Upload length Uploads Share
Up to 1 minute 925 67.8%
1 to 3 minutes 243 17.8%
3 to 15 minutes 161 11.8%
15 to 50 minutes 35 2.6%
50 minutes or more 1 0.1%

Those short clips get watched. The typical upload has 23,186 views, the second-highest median of the seven official channels we have measured in full, behind only ReelShort. Its most-watched upload is a 16-second clip with 11.9 million views.

Premieres, soundtracks and TV-style cuts

Two things set this channel apart from the others we track.

It markets series the way a studio would. 81 upload titles announce a premiere and 125 are trailers. A handful are music videos for a series’ soundtrack, and a separate channel describing itself as My Drama’s official soundtrack channel opened in December 2025.

It has the largest share of landscape video of any official channel we have checked. 225 of its uploads, 16.5%, are wide rather than tall. The next highest is GoodShort’s Episodes channel at 12%, and the rest are under 3%. 128 of My Drama’s landscape uploads carry “premiere”, “trailer” or “TV Series” in the title, and 55 of the 64 uploads labelled “TV Series” are landscape. The labels suggest My Drama cuts some of its series in widescreen for viewers on a bigger screen.

The channel’s range is also wider than most. Alongside the billionaire and mafia stories common across these apps, eight titles are labelled as women-loving-women romance.

How the channel has changed

From October 2025 to March 2026 it posted at a much higher rate, 783 uploads in six months, almost all sub-minute clips. Since July 2026 it has posted far less, 59 uploads, and changed format: the typical upload is now about 8 minutes long, and nearly half are landscape.

Its single upload over 50 minutes went up on 8 October 2026, an hour and a half long. Whether that marks a new direction or a one-off, two days of data cannot tell.

How it compares on full-length uploads

Counting every upload of 50 minutes or more on each official channel, read between 7 and 10 October 2026:

Official channel Uploads of 50 min or more
StardustTV 1,403
FlexTV 459
ShortMax 154
MoboReels 122
ReelShort 119
DramaBox 23
My Drama 1

If you want whole stories free on YouTube, StardustTV is the opposite end of that table, and good short dramas lists the most-watched complete uploads on three other channels.

What this does and does not show

It shows who sells My Drama, where it sits on the US App Store, and what its official channel has posted, upload by upload.

It does not show what is inside the app. My Drama publishes no catalogue we can read, so we cannot count its series, check its claim of 80-plus originals, or say how much of each is free. The landscape finding describes the YouTube uploads, not how the series were filmed. Nothing on this page describes what anything costs.

What we measured

The US App Store listings of My Drama, FreeBits and ten other short drama apps, read together through Apple’s public lookup service on 10 October 2026. The link from my-drama.com to the official channel, followed the same day. Every public upload on that channel, 1,365 videos from May 2024 to October 2026, read through the YouTube Data API on 10 October 2026: title, upload date, length, view count and frame shape. Full-length counts for the other channels come from complete upload histories read between 7 and 10 October 2026.
